Welcome to the Jennie Mose Family Resource Center Page.  The Jennie Mose Family Resource Center provides networking opportunities for families to link with other families and agencies that will help strengthen family functioning.

SCHOOL BASED FOOD CENTER

ACSD Community -

We are very excited to announce the opening of the Food Center at the Jennie Mose Family Resource Center!  The Food Center will be officially open to ALL members of the ACSD community beginning Wednesday, September 10th, 8:00-10:00 am and 1:30-3:30 pm.  The regular hours for the food Center for the month of September are listed below and we anticipate adding one Saturday morning per month and one evening per week, along with an online request system for families with transportation challenges, beginning in October.  Please watch for more information.

• Mondays 8:00-10:00 am
• Tuesdays 8:00-10:00 am, 1:30-3:00 pm
• Wednesdays 8:00-10:00 am, 1:30-3:00 pm
• Thursdays 8:00-10:00 am, 1:30-3:00 pm
• Fridays 8:00 am-12:00 pm

We are planning a Grand Opening Event for Saturday, October 4th at 10:00am.  Again, please be on the lookout for more information.

Please note the following guidelines when accessing the Food Center at the JMC:

• "Shopping" is limited one visit per week per family/person. This will allow us to make sure we are serving as many as possible in any given week.
• As you shop, you can take the items that you need.  The number of items you can take is 3-days’ worth of food based on the MyPlate recommendations from NYSDOH for family sizes. Visit Pantry Package Guide for more info.
• Daily snacks, as long as available, are just that and limited to a maximum of two items, one of each.

The food center currently has a large supply of milk, eggs, peaches, plumbs, cabbage and yogurt.  There are also beets, potatoes, ground beef, chicken nuggets, hotdogs, cottage cheese, and many nonperishable foods & canned goods available - even dry dog food to make sure your dogs don't go hungry!  Please come visit the Food Center at the JMFRC soon!
