ACSD School Community,  

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! The ACSD Transportation Department is looking forward to another successful year of providing safe, reliable transportation for our students.  

As we prepare for the start of school, please review the following important information: 

Transportation Schedules – Available August 20th  

Student transportation schedules will be available beginning August 20 through the MyRide K-12 application. Families are encouraged to download the app and create an account prior to August 20. 

Signing up for MyRideK-12 

  1. Download the MyRide K-12 app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

  1. Create an account using your email address. 

  1. Search for and select Addison Central School District 

  1. Follow the prompts to add your student using their student ID number. If you do not have your child’s ID number, please call their school’s main office. 

  1. Once connected, you will be able to view your student’s assigned transportation information and receive transportation updates. 

Daily Transportation Plans 

A consistent daily transportation plan is required for each student prior to the start of every school year. If a permanent change to your child’s transportation plan is needed during the school year, please contact the appropriate buildings main office.  

Daily Transportation Changes 

In support of our goal to transport every student safely, every day, we will not be allowing routine daily transportation changes. Consistent transportation plans help ensure that students are accounted for and placed on the correct bus each day.  

We understand that emergencies do happen. If an emergency requires a same-day transportation change, please contact the Director of Transportation as soon as possible. 

Thank you for your cooperation and partnership as we work together to provide a safe and efficient transportation experience for all ACSD students.

  • In the event of a school closing, an alert will be displayed on the district website immediately.  In addition, an auto-call will be placed to both parents and staff within the district.  Finally, our media outlets will be notified to post the school closing to the public.
