Greetings Addison Knights!
My name is Christine Gill. I am honored to be your new High School Principal. I’m eager to get to partner with you to do what is best for our students and the Knights Community.
I’d like to share a bit about me. My passion is centered on supporting students and families and our staff. I believe in personal connections, strong relationships, and trust to work as a team. As a mom of three grown sons, I know the importance of the home-to-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and the ones who know the students best. By working together, we can make sure to meet each child’s social, emotional, and academic needs.
Before joining you, I was a Director of Curriculum and Instruction, an Instructional Technology Support teacher and a teacher of French and Spanish for 21 years in Elmira and Trumansburg. I have a Bachelor’s in French, Master’s in Adult Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership.
Throughout the summer, I met many parents, students and community members. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. These encounters have me really looking forward to having a great school year.
